This Pride Month, Chicago Women in Philanthropy celebrates the LGBTQ+ members, leaders, advocates, and changemakers who strengthen our community and our sector every day.
As a network of women, women-identifying, and gender-expansive people in philanthropy, the CWIP community is made stronger by the diversity of experiences, perspectives, and identities that each member brings. We are proud to create space for connection, learning, and leadership across our differences and to celebrate the LGBTQ+ individuals whose contributions shape our collective impact.
This month, we encourage our network to learn more about and support organizations advancing LGBTQIA+ communities across Chicago, including the Center on Halsted, the Midwest's largest LGBTQ+ community center, and the Chicago Foundation for Women's LBTQ Giving Council and Lavender Fund, which have invested in LGBTQIA+ leadership and community-led change for more than two decades.
To our LGBTQ+ members and colleagues: thank you for your leadership, your partnership, and the many ways you help make CWIP a more vibrant and welcoming community.
