Programs & Capacity Building Committee

WHAT WE DO:
We are committed to producing programs that educate and empower women and non-binary people in the social sector to grow personally and professionally. Our programs feature dynamic leaders and focus on issues facing the sector, professional development, and knowledge sharing between funders and nonprofit staff. Committee members attend all-committee meetings held monthly, and volunteer to support production of at least one event, ranging from panel discussions to networking events. We invite new committee members who are excited to bring energy and bold ideas to our group and help bring innovative, interactive conversations to our CWIP community.
Committee Events
We typically host 3-4 live programs per year, in-person and virtual events including interactive workshops, panel discussions, and group coaching events on topics ranging from talent and organizational development to change leadership. We also host an annual Face to Face with Funders gathering for development professionals and funder representatives to meet and talk without performance pressure.
